Principal Investigator
Siddhartha (Sid) Srivastava
Hi! My name is Siddhartha, and I go by Sid. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Auburn University, where I direct the QuAC group.
Before joining Auburn, I was a Senior Research Associate at the University of Southern California and an Assistant Research Scientist at the University of Michigan. I have conducted my post-doctoral studies under Prof. Krishna Garikipati in the Computational Physics Group (now at University of Southern California) in the area of data-driven physics. I received my Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, where I worked under Prof. Veera Sundararaghavan on quantum algorithms and computational mechanics for near-term quantum hardware. I also received a B.Tech.-M.Tech. dual degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, where I worked under Prof. Chandra Shekhar Upadhyay on constitutive theories for highly deformable and dissipative materials.
